Who Will Be Local Councillor

Having trouble finding out about the candidates in the upcoming municipal election? The easiest way to see all the candidate information in a central place, is the City of Toronto election pages on their website. The pages will only share information that the candidate themself has shared with the city. Some of the shared information is sparse and some non-existent.

There are 10 candidates running for the Ward 4, Parkdale-High Park council seat. The candidates are: Michael Corcoran, Nadia Guerrera, Debbie King, Diana Chan McNally, Bridget Ogundipe, Adam Pham, Andy Potega, Vanessa Raponi, Holly Weber and Steve Yuen.

We recognize three of the these candidates. Nadia Guerrera ran for a provincial seat in the riding last year under the Liberal banner. Debbie King is the TSDB trustee for the local provincial riding and labour advocate. Diana Chan McNally is a local housing and community advocate.

If you want to learn more about the candidates in the Ward 4 race, the Junction Residents Association will be hosting a “Meet the Candidates” event. The live virtual event will take place on October 1 from 6:30-8:30pm. Space is limited and you must register with them in advance to attend.
